My name is Fernanda Nakata,

I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and I’m the youngest daughter of a woman from Pernambuco and a Japanese-Brazilian father whose family is from Paraná.

I’m passionate about romance, magical realism, young adult literature, and children’s book. My favorite author is Jostein Gaarder, and my favorite book is The Solitaire Mystery.

I have specialized training in creative writing and children’s illustration, and I’ve independently published a novel and a children’s book.
