Typography, color choices, the way text is arranged on the page, and the small details that appear throughout the book all contribute to shaping the reader’s experience. With this service, I take care of the book’s interior design and layout. By the end of the process, your book’s interior will be fully prepared and ready to go to print!

How does the service work?

First, you’ll fill out a form with the initial information about your project or, if you prefer, we can schedule a virtual meeting. Based on that information, I’ll prepare a project proposal. Once the proposal has been approved, we’ll begin the creative process, which consists of three stages:

Briefing → Development → Delivery

1. Briefing

During the briefing, you’ll provide me with the complete, edited manuscript, along with the elements that need to be included in the book, such as the dedication, acknowledgments, and copyright/cataloging information. I’ll also need to know the format and dimensions in which the book will be produced. If you haven’t decided yet, no problem! I can recommend suitable formats, and we can choose the best option together. This is also the stage where you’ll tell me, in detail, everything you consider important for the project.

2. Development

Based on the briefing, I’ll begin exploring typography, margins, spacing, heading hierarchy, decorative elements, and illustrated details. You’ll be entitled to up to four rounds of revisions at this stage, as long as the requested changes are related to the previously approved proposal.

3. Delivery

Once the book has been reviewed and approved, I’ll prepare the final files according to the project’s intended use, ready for print and/or digital publication.

This service can be booked as a standalone service or as part of a complete project, together with the cover design and interior illustrations.
